Under Punjab Irrigated Agricultural Productivity Improvement project, 7,000 watercourses in the province would be lined, the High Efficiency Irrigation System would be installed on 120,000 acres and farmers would be given 3,000 laser levelers.

لاہور (کامرس رپورٹر) وزیر خزانہ مجتبیٰ شجاع نے پوسٹ بجٹ پریس کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پنجاب حکومت کا آئندہ مالی سال 2013-14ء کا بجٹ متوازن ہے جس میں غریب اور درمیانے طبقے پر بوجھ نہیں ڈالا گیا، صرف امراءپر ٹیکس عائد کئے گئے ہیں۔ صوبائی وزیر قانون رانا ثناءاللہ بھی موجود تھے۔ مجتبیٰ شجاع نے کہا صوبائی ملازمین کی تنخواہوں میں 10 فیصد اضافہ مرکزی حکومت کی جانب سے تنخواہوں میں اضافے کے مطابق کیا گیا ہے۔ دیگر صوبوں نے اپنا فیصلہ کیا ہے ہماری نظر میں جو مناسب نہیں۔ یہ پہلی مرتبہ ہوا ہے کیپٹل گین ٹیکس سے ڈیڑھ سے 2 ارب روپے حاصل ہونگے، اسکا مقصد جائیدادوں کے کاروبار میں سٹہ بازی کا خاتمہ کرنا ہے۔ مسلم لیگ (ن) کی حکومت نے جنوبی پنجاب کیلئے بجٹ 14 فیصد سے بڑھا کر 32 فیصد کیا ہے۔ تحریک انصاف کے باعث بڑے گھروں پر لگژری ٹیکس عائد کرنے کا تاثر درست نہیں مسلم لیگ (ن) کو لاہور میں بڑا مینڈیٹ ملا ہے، اس ٹیکس کو غریبوں کی فلاح و بہبود پر خرچ کیا جائیگا۔ پیپلز پارٹی نے ناکامیوں، بیڈ گورننس ڈھٹائی اور بے شرمی سے کی جانیوالی کرپشن کو چھپانے کیلئے جنوبی پنجاب کا شوشہ چھوڑا جسے وہاں کے عوام نے انتخابات میں مسترد کر دیا۔ فارم ہاﺅسز پر ٹیکس عائد کیا تو مالکان نے عدالتوں سے سٹے آرڈر حاصل کر لیا، ہم عدالتوں میں اس کیس کی پیروی کر رہے ہیں اور سٹے آرڈر ختم کروا کر یہ ٹیکس وصول کیا جائےگا۔ ان خیالات
