لاہور (خبر نگار) وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب محمد شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ مسلم لیگ (ن) کی پنجاب حکومت نے نئے مالی سال 2013-14ءکیلئے انقلابی بجٹ پیش کیا ہے جس میں صوبے کے عوام کی ترقی و خوشحالی اور فلاح و بہبود کیلئے کئی اہم اقدامات کا اعلان کیا گیا ہے۔ ترقیاتی ویژن کا شاہکار بجٹ صوبے کے عوام کیلئے ترقی اور خوشحالی کا نیا دور لیکر آئیگا۔ غریب اور کم وسیلہ طبقات پر ایک پائی کا بھی بوجھ نہیں ڈالا گیا بلکہ اشرافیہ پر ٹیکس لگایا گیا ہے۔ اشرافیہ سے ٹیکس وصول کرکے غریب اور کم وسیلہ طبقات کی فلاح و بہبود پر خرچ کیا جائیگا۔ نئے مالی سال کا بجٹ سماجی شعبوں کی مربوط ترقی کا روڈ میپ ثابت ہوگا۔ وہ 90 شاہراہ قائداعظم پر ایک اعلیٰ سطحی اجلاس سے خطاب کررہے تھے۔ شہباز شریف نے صوبائی وزیر خزانہ، سیکرٹری خزانہ اور انکی پوری ٹیم کو عوام دوست اور متوازن بجٹ پیش کرنے پر مبارکباد دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ پنجاب حکومت کے بہترین اور انقلابی بجٹ سے ثابت ہوگیا ہے کہ مسلم لیگ (ن) محدود وسائل کے باوجود عوام کو زیادہ سے زیادہ سہولتوں کی فراہمی کیلئے پرعزم ہے۔ انہو ںنے کہا کہ مزدور کی کم از کم ماہانہ اجرت 9 ہزار سے بڑھا کر 10 ہزار روپے کردی گئی ہے جس میں بتدریج اضافہ

نیویارک (خصوصی رپورٹ ) پاکستان مسلم لیگ (ن) امریکہ نے زیارت میں بانی پاکستان قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح کی قیام گاہ پر ہونے والے حملے میں کوئٹہ میں سکول بس میں بے گناہ کالج سٹوڈنٹس کی بم دھماکے میں ہلاکت کے واقعات کی شدید الفاظ میں مذمت کی ہے اور کہا ہے کہ ان واقعات کی جتنی بھی مذمت کی جائے کم ہے اور ان میں ملوث عناصر کو عبرتناک سزا دینی چاہئیے ۔انہوں نے کہا کہ پاکستان مسلم لیگ (ن) امریکہ کے تمام عہدیداران اور ارکان ان واقعات کی مذمت کرتے ہیں اور ہم سمجھتے ہیں کہ یہ وزیر اعظم پاکستان میاں نواز شریف اور بلوچستان کے وزیر اعلیٰ ڈاکٹر عبدالمالک بلوچ کے خلاف ہی سازش نہیں بلکہ پاکستان کے خلاف بھی سازش ہے اور اسے پاکستان بالخصوص بلوچستان کے عوام کو کبھی کامیاب نہیں ہونے دینا ۔
پاکستان مسلم لیگ (ن) امریکہ کے صدر روحیل ڈار، سینئر نائب صدر میاں فیاض ، سیکرٹری جنرل رانا سعید اور سیکرٹری انفارمیشن سید انور شاہ واسطی نے اپنے مشترکہ بیان میں مزید کہا کہ موجودہ حکومت کی اولین ترجیح پاکستان کو داخلی و خارجی بحرانوں سے نکالنا ہے اور اس کوشش میں جو لوگ رکاوٹ بن رہے ہیں ، ان کی قوم کو نشاندہی کرنی چاہئیے ۔

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the government was working on war footing to bring an end to the energy crisis in the country.

Shahbaz Sharif said this while talking to Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industries President Farooq Iftikhar in Model Town on Sunday. He said that the energy crisis had caused irreparable loss to the national economy and left a negative impact on the industrial and agriculture sectors while trade and economic activities had also suffered.

ISLAMABAD: A five-member delegation of the China North Industries Corporation (Norinco), led by its Chairman Wang Yitong, on Thursday called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s office.

LAHORE: RAILWAYS Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has sought suggestions in writing from all the Pakistan Railways trade unions for the revival and improvement of the department.

Presiding over a meeting of all trade union office-bearers of the PR at headquarters on Friday, he urged labourers to work hard with discipline for the betterment of the department. He said the government had allocated Rs 31 billion for Pakistan Railways but the amount would be spent carefully. He said that everyone in the PR would be held accountable and the accountability process would be started from the top. The minister said politics in the department would never be tolerated.

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz central leader and Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said that the budget was presented to stabilise the economy not to fulfil its promises. He said that the government decided not to print more notes of rupees as it would have increased inflation. He said that the PML-N government would realise all promises it made with the people within its five-year tenure. He said that if the government did not expand tax revenue net in the budget it would have been forced to raise begging bowl before foreign countries, referring to Kerry-Lugar Act. He said that strong and stable economy was his government’s first priority. It was his government’s first objective to stop damage to country’s economy, he said.
