Hamza vows to restore Lahore’s past glory

LAHORE – Central leader of PML-N, MNA Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has vowed to restore Lahore’s past glory when it was known as the City of flowers and gardens all over the world. He said that recreational activities, sports and parks gave Lahore a unique place in the world.
He was addressing at the chrysanthemum exhibition held at Jillani Park, here on Thursday.  Hamza on the occasion also asked the PHA to hold the exhibition of chrysanthemum and other flowers in all the big cities of the province.

Surrounded by a large number of visitors to the Park, Hamza Shahbaz praised the arrangements of a variety of flowers at exhibition and announced that the first 10 position holders will be rewarded by Punjab government and separately by him as well.  Talking to media, Hamza said that Pakistan is a peaceful country and has been bestowed by Allah Almighty with natural beauty. He said that the government is making strenuous efforts for the elimination of terrorism, loadshedding and other problems.
He assured the people that the aim of national progress and prosperity will be achieved and the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal will be realised by the PML-N.
He said that a large wildlife park is being set up in Shahdra area which will be unique with regard to its natural beauty. He said that 10,000 saplings will be planted to make Lahore a green City.
