PM Nawaz submits asset details to ECP

According to rules and regulations, membership of defaulters would be cancelled after October 15. 

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ultimately submitted the details of his assets after lapse of deadline which had been set September 30 by the Election Commission of Pakistan. 

It is regrettable to mention that 155 members have not submitted the details of their assets to the Election Commission.

So far as the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is concerned, he had moved a application, seeking some time for submission of details of assets as he had leave for out of country regarding official visit.

It is worthy of note that the membership of the defaulters would cancelled after October 15.

According to the ECP, it has thus far received the details of assets from 1,013 lawmakers, which included 95 senators, 304 members of the National Assembly, 335 members of the Punjab Assembly, 148 members of the Sindh Assembly, 76 members of the Khyber Pukhtunkhaw Assembly and 55 members of the Balochistan Assembly.
